Amal Ibrahim

Amal Ibrahim is a Somali poet based in Melbourne. Her work explores the way identities intimately intersect, the complexity and artistry of black womanhood and the power of poetry as an act of political defiance. Amal’s featured at various poetry events, including the End Of Line Festival, Girls on Key, Melbourne Fringe Festival and 2017 Digital Writers Festival.
