Georgia Kartas/Saint Jorge is a writer whose work explores feminism, love, and the body’s intelligence and sovereignty through supernatural tropes. She also performs spoken word poetry and reads tarot cards. In 2017 Georgia performed underground poetry at Dark Mofo, participated in Express Media’s poetry program ‘Toolkits’, and finished the first draft of her historical speculative fiction novel. In 2018, Georgia is collaborating with videographers, zinemakers and opera singers on some multidisciplinary projects. She also co-runs and edits online arts journal Red Magpie.
