Melanie Cheng

Melanie Cheng is a writer and general practitioner based in Melbourne. In 2016 her debut short story collection, AUSTRALIA DAY, won the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award for an unpublished manuscript, and in 2018 her published book won the same award for fiction. Her work has appeared in The Age, Meanjin, Overland and The Griffith Review, among others.
