Rebecca Harkins-Cross is a non-fiction writer and cultural critic based in Melbourne. Her work centres on art and culture, and has appeared in publications across Australia and the world, including The Saturday Paper, The Australian, The Age, ABC, Meanjin, Island, CNN Style and Art Das Kunstmagazin. She writes a film column for The Lifted Brow and is a PhD candidate at Monash University. She has won several awards from the Australian Film Critics Association, was a finalist for the Scribe Prize, and was named one of Melbourne Writers Festival’s 30 Writers Under 30.
