Susie is a writer based in Sydney. Her practice is concerned with the distances between place, people and culture, themes she explores through poetry and non-fiction. In 2016 she undertook a residency at the Banff Centre in Canada and was a Wheeler Centre Hot Desk Fellow in 2014. Her writing has appeared in Artlink, un magazine, Runway Magazine, Rabbit Poetry Journal, Australian Book Review, Alien She, The Lifted Brow and Voiceworks.

The meeting point for this event is outside the Footscray Community Arts Centre. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled session time and you will be escorted to the boat. Due to the nature of the event, latecomers will not be admitted.
