Cate Blake is a Commissioning Editor in the literary division of Penguin Random House Australia. Books she has published have won or been nominated for awards including the National Biography Award, the Ned Kelly Awards, the Davitt Awards, the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards and the International Dublin Literary Award. She has a Bachelor of Arts with honours from the University of Melbourne, and has developed her editorial and publishing skills through attending the Residential Editorial Program, run by the Australian Publishers’ Association, and the Yale University Publishing Course in the USA.
