Chloe Hooper’s The Tall Man: Death and Life on Palm Island won numerous awards, including the John Button Prize for Political Writing, and a Ned Kelly for Crime Writing. She is also the author of two novels, A Child’s Book of True Crime, and ‘The Engagement’. Her non-fiction account of a deliberately lit blaze on Black Saturday, The Arsonist: A Mind on Fire, will be published by Penguin Random House in September.
