Declan is a multi-disciplinary artist and musician working in theatre, poetry and Hip-Hop. He was born in Mparntwe on Arrernte country and lives in Preston on Wurundjeri country. His creative practice incorporates cultural and community organising, education and facilitation. Declan completed a Masters in Writing for Performance at Victorian College of the Arts in 2017 and has had work read with the Melbourne Theatre Company and Little Theatre Company in 2018. This year he was accepted to develop new work with Ilbijerri and Melbourne fringe in their Deadly Fringe program. Declan is an Arrernte Sovereign National.
