Matilda Dixon-Smith is a writer, editor, artist and theatre-maker from Melbourne. Working primarily as a freelance journalist and cultural critic, her work covers the arts, entertainment, politics, health and feminism. Matilda’s writing has appeared in Fairfax, The Guardian Crikey, SBS, ABC News, Kill Your Darlings, Going Down Swinging and other outlets. Her first book, “Change-makers: The pin-up book of pioneers, troublemakers and radicals”, is due out with Smith Street Books in Nov/Dec 2018. Matilda tweets mostly about her cat and the North Melbourne pool from @mdixonsmith.
