Rachel Perks is a Melbourne based theatre artist investigating feminist futures through the lens of speculative fiction. Rachel has a long-standing creative partnership with Bridget Balodis under title ‘Double Water Sign’. Together they have made ‘GROUND CONTROL’, ‘ANGRY SEXX’ and the soon to be staged ‘MORAL PANIC’.
This year Rachel spent three months in NYC investigating downtown dramaturgy under the mentorship of Sibyl Kempson, Erin Markey and Tina Satter. In 2017 she to took part in ‘The Next Stage’ at Dublin Theatre Festival.
Earlier work includes Elbow Room’s ‘We Get It’ (NEON 2015, Powerhouse 2016) and ‘Shmaltz’ by Daniel Schlusser.
